Tour de Cure's support of Australia’s brightest minds has funded cancer research that's resulted in 231 world-class breakthroughs since 2007.
A cancer research breakthrough is defined as an original discovery that passes rigorous peer review and is published in a respected scientific or medical journal – confirmation of both impact and global relevance. These breakthroughs span many types of cancer and stages of the cancer journey, including prevention, early diagnosis, and targeted treatments.
We would like to thank every single person in the Tour de Cure community - event participants, Gala guests, volunteers, corporate and sponsor partners, and staff. Together, we have raised more than $158 million, funded 1,228+ projects including 231 research breakthroughs, and changed countless lives as we make progress towards our mission of Curing Cancer, Changing Lives.
